Her Royal Highness lady Julia Osei Tutu has advised orphans to be obedient and to study hard to enable them become responsible and good leaders in the society.
According to her being an orphan should not discourage them from aspiring to greater heights. Her Royal Highness Lady Julia made these remarks when she donated Christmas items to some orphanages and special homes in the Ashanti Region.
The first of her donation was at the All Nations Children’s home at Ayigya, Kumasi.
At the All Nations Children home lady Julia donated bags of rice, sugar, soft drinks, gallons of oil etc. She interacted with with the kids at the All Nations Children’s home.
The director of the All Nations Orphanage Rev. Kofi Adu expressed his deepest gratitude to Lady Julia for the gesture and appealed to other benevolent organizations to do same.
Later Lady Julia visited the SOS Children’s village at Asokore Mampong in Kumasi together with the Omanhene of the Asokore Mampong traditional area, Nana Boakye Ansah Debrah I. At the SOS Village Lady Julia donated bags of rice, sugar, gallons of oil, assorted soft drinks, soaps.
The last of her donations was at the Central Destitute Infirmary at Asante Bekwai in the Ashanti Region. Bags of rice, sugar, gallons of oil, soft drinks etc were donated to them.
Dignitaries present at the donation were the Omanhene of Bekwai traditional area Nana Karikari Appau II, the Municipal Chief Executive of Amansie East, Hon. Mary Jantuah among others.
The CEO of the orphanage, Paulina Okai was very grateful to Lady Julia.
